Big English by Pearson is designed for primary and lower secondary students, helping them build strong, well-rounded English skills.
The program combines academic structure with engaging content to keep students motivated and progressing at every stage.
Each unit focuses on a fun and meaningful theme — such as family, school, or hobbies — closely connected to real life, making learning more relatable and enjoyable.
Every unit sets clear goals for vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structures.
Step by step, students develop confidence and accuracy across all areas of the language.
Balanced training in the four key skills:
Listening: Strengthen comprehension through diverse audio activities.
Speaking: Build fluency and confidence through interactive pair and group tasks.
Reading: Develop understanding and strategy through leveled reading texts.
Writing: Practice structured writing to express ideas clearly and creatively.
Key grammar points and new words are introduced in each unit, with focused exercises that help students apply what they’ve learned in real contexts.
English learning is integrated with subjects such as science, math, and social studies, helping students expand knowledge and see real-world connections.
Cultural lessons introduce customs and traditions from around the world, encouraging global understanding and open-mindedness.
Regular quizzes, unit tests, and progress reviews track learning outcomes and provide teachers and parents with valuable feedback for targeted support.
