Having lived in three countries and taught students from around the world — including Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, and Switzerland — Lois brings a truly global perspective to her teaching and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity in learning.
Lois’s love of reading and writing shines through in every class, inspiring her students to share that same passion. In novel studies, she reads each book alongside her students and designs original discussion questions that encourage them to think like writers. As they deepen their reading comprehension, they also gain greater insight into story structure, character development, and narrative technique.
Through engaging writing activities, Lois helps students create vivid characters and compelling plots while refining their grammar, vocabulary, and overall writing skills. For students preparing for Cambridge, TOEFL, or IELTS exams, she blends focused skill practice with targeted strategies to build confidence across reading, writing, speaking, and listening—both for the exam and real-world communication.
Whether she’s guiding a young writer’s imagination or preparing an advanced learner for international exams, Lois brings enthusiasm, expertise, and care to every lesson. Her goal is to help each student grow in skill, confidence, and creativity while discovering the joy of language and learning.
John communicates with our child in such a warm and genuine way. Each lesson includes thoughtful, detailed feedback that really helps our child grow. We’ve seen a big boost in confidence — longer sentences, clearer expression, and genuine enjoyment of every class.
We appreciate how lessons are planned with clear goals and adapted along the way to support steady progress. As parents, we value not only the positive feedback but also the honest guidance on areas to improve — it helps us understand our child’s learning journey better.
Jose’s lessons are lively and motivating, helping our child stay engaged and positive. We feel the course pace and content are perfectly suited to our child’s learning progress. Jose also adjusts the lessons based on our child’s level and needs.
Over the past six months, we’ve seen so much improvement — Henry has become more willing to express himself, even if his grammar isn’t perfect yet. We hope the school and teachers continue to communicate closely to develop the best learning plan for each child.
